Emergency Assistance
The largest program offered by Catholic Charities is Emergency Assistance. This program combines material and financial assistance with advocacy efforts for people in need.
Catholic Charities of Ashtabula County offers the following types of Emergency Assistance Services:
- Clothing
- Domestic violence referrals
- Emergency shelter
- Essential prescription medication and medical supplies
- Food services
- Holiday and/or Special event asssitance (i.e.: back to school)
- Homeless outreach
- Transportation
- Utility Assistance
- * Possible other services essential to well-being
Emergency Assistance extends help and hope in times of crisis and need to families and children in cooperation with other social service agencies, churches, food pantries and kitchens.
