Domestic Violence Shelter Services

Providing protective shelter to women and children affected by domestic violence has always been a top priority for Catholic Charities.  A 24-hour crisis telephone line is maintained with cooperation from other local agencies.

One of the largest services provided is community education and prevention.  These programs are offered to schools, organizations and other concerned groups. Additionally, this program offers sexual assault and rape crisis counseling  and other related information.

Catholic Charities also provides legal/victim advocacy for women seeking protection orders.
