How does my gift help?

Last year Catholic Charities served over 45,000 needy individuals and families in our diocese.
Your support of the Bishop’s Appeal makes the work of Catholic Charities possible. Your support of the Appeal also helps fund diocesan ministries that promote family life, the formation of youth and young adults, the sanctity of human life, religious education and others. This week, we introduce you to Miguel and Kenny.

Miguel and Kenny are classmates and live near each other in a low income housing unit. Their parents struggle to make ends meet, but can barely pay their bills each month. Assistance from Catholic Charities allows Miguel and Kenny to receive the necessary school supplies to provide a fair chance at school, as well as clothing and shoes which growing children need all too often.  Many parents work hard but still cannot provide everything their children need. Catholic Charities is there to help. With your monthly gift of $15 to the Bishop’s Annual Appeal – equal to tossing a couple bags of snacks in the grocery cart -  you can help Miguel, Kenny and so many other children to have a brighter future.
