Website Information Accuracy
It is the policy of Catholic Charities to present correct and accurate information. If inaccuracies come to our attention, Catholic Charities will attempt to correct them in a timely manner. To report website inaccuracies, please send an e-mail to charities@youngstowndiocese.org.

Privacy Policy
Catholic Charities seeks to respect and protect the privacy of our visitors and only gathers personally identifiable data, such as names, addresses, zip codes, e-mail addresses, etc., when voluntarily submitted by a visitor. Catholic Charities does not share donor lists or donor information with any organization outside the Diocese of Youngstown. It is the policy of Catholic Charities to maintain accurate information. If you would like to review or update information we have on file about you, please contact us in writing via U.S. mail. Catholic Charities will make every effort to correct information that is inaccurate.

Information We Collect
We may collect two types of information about you: personally identifiable information and non-personal, aggregate information (such as information regarding the pages on our Site that you have visited and your IP address).

(A) Personally Identifiable Information
“Personally Identifiable Information” is information that identifies you personally, such as your name, address, telephone number, and email address. We collect and store the personally identifiable information that you have provided to us. We may collect your name, address, email address, telephone number, and payment information when you choose to make a donation.  We may collect your email address if you sign up for an online newsletter.

(B) Non-Personally Identifiable Information
“Non-Personally Identifiable Information” can be technical information or it can be demographic information, such as your age, gender or your interests. Non-personally identifiable information does NOT identify you personally.  

Opt-Out
Visitors may opt out of having their personal information used by Catholic Charities to send promotional correspondences or information by contacting us via U.S. mail, e-mail at charities@youngstowndiocese.org, or by phone at 330-744-8451. 

Children
Catholic Charities does not knowingly solicit personal information from children or send them requests for personal information. It is our suggestion that children under the age of 18 be supervised during the use of this site. 

Security of Information
No data transmissions over the Internet can be guaranteed to be 100% secure. Consequently, we cannot ensure or warrant the security of any information you transmit to us and you understand that any information that you transfer to us is done at your own risk.  We take reasonable measures to ensure that information remains as secure as reasonably possible. When appropriate we use industry-standard encryption technologies when transferring and receiving data exchanged with our site. 

Limitation on Liability
By using Catholic Charities’ website you agree that Catholic Charities, its affiliates, officers, agents, directors and employees are not liable to you for any negligence claims or causes of action arising out of or relating to the use of this website or any information you provide to Catholic Charities.
